Core Supports

What is
core supports?

Your Core support budget is the most flexible, and includes four categories of support:

  • Consumables (e.g. purchasing everyday use items such as continence aids)
  • Daily Activities (e.g. assistance with self-care activities during the day or evening)
  • Assistance with Social and Community Participation (e.g. supports to enable you to engage in social or recreational activities)
  • Transport (e.g. if you are unable to use public transport because of your disability).

Daily Activities

In home support with daily living activities, a service that is personalised to achieve your individual goals while ensuring your daily routine is achievable and manageable.

Choice and control

Our Support Workers can assist you with personal and household tasks including:
  • Dressing
  • Personal hygiene
  • Bathing and showering
  • Shaving and grooming
  • Moving around your home
  • Urinary care and bowel care
  • Toileting & continence management
  • Assist with home therapy program as prescribed
  • Assisting with hoists and transfers
  • Helping you to get in and out of bed and move around the house
  • Domestic assistance and cleaning
  • Laundry
  • Meal planning and Preparation / or / Assistance with mealtime
Josh core supports NDIS

Community Access

Supporting participants in the community to connect and engage in social activities or attend appointments.

Supporting participants with their goals, to build or maintain independence to remain in their own home and the community.

Social activities and community engagement, such as:

  • Providing assistance and transport to attend medical appointments
  • Providing assistance and transport to attend social activities
  • Building independent and capacity to access transport and community activities
  • Assist with researching and attending social activities in the community.
